Vegan Freak

After chatting with my pal, Herman, over at VeganPorn (had to get my "Tofu makes me horny t-shirt"...don't we all need one?!? :), I stumbled upon this great site:

If you're interested in learning more about the vegan lifestyle from some pretty funny people, check it out.

(And, say "hi" to their mascot, "Tofu Oyaku"--he's the guy up to the left there...hilarious...)

Plus, this line was too funny not to share:

we don't eat nothin' that farts. or anything with a face. or anything from anything that farts or has a face. Basically, vegans avoid animal products to the greatest extent possible, with the overall goal of reducing suffering and increasing compassion. No eggs, meat, dairy, honey, wool, leather, etc. This sounds onerous, but trust us, it isn't. Why kill to eat when you don't have to?

Alternately, there's a nice vegan FAQ over at"

thats some logical stuff there, i wouldnt wanna eat anything that farts also but the face thing is TOO much. this guy probably never had a meat burger before or he lost his ability to taste with his tongue.

'this guy' has eaten meat burgers before, but I generally prefer to limit my consumption of E. coli, CJB prions, and the other shit that's in meat.

The "face thing" might be too much for you but I don't personally think brings the point home pretty powerfully for me...

I've also eaten (way too) many burgers in my day and it's amazing how much better optimal health and right living tastes than a burger...funny thing about our tongues, too--God made em salivate at the sight of fresh, sweet fruit...which isn't something that happens when I think of bleeding flesh...(unless I really imagine the E. coli, etc...ew...)

Veganfreak: Great to see ya and keep up the awesome work.
